Ultimate Fighting Championship® light heavyweight fighter Forrest Griffin will be in attendance at the Rosemead Independence Day Celebration Parade on Saturday, July 3rd to help commemorate the opening of the new Rosemead/Los Angeles area UFC® Gym™. The native of Kansas City, Mo., began wresting in high school and went on to compete at the college level.

He got into mixed martial arts following his college career, and on Sunday will take part in the World Extreme Cagefighting event at Rexall.

“One of my friends was starting MMA and I helped him out,” Davis said.
